Why Tech Biz Toolkit Exists — And What You’ll See More of in 2026

As we step into a new year, I’ve been taking time to reflect on what 2025 represented for me — professionally, creatively, and personally. It was a year of building, learning, and quietly finding my voice. Most importantly, it was the year I launched Tech Biz Toolkit.

BEHIND THE TOOLKIT

Why Tech Biz Toolkit Exists

Tech Biz Toolkit was born from a simple idea:
to make business change feel less overwhelming and more human.

Over the years, I’ve worked across business change, digital transformation, and people-led programmes. I’ve seen first-hand how challenging it can be to:

  • Know where to start

  • Understand expectations

  • Translate theory into real-world delivery

  • Feel confident when working with senior stakeholders

There is no shortage of frameworks or models but there is a shortage of practical, relatable guidance.

Tech Biz Toolkit was created to bridge that gap.

A Personal, Hands-On Approach

One thing that’s important to say because it shapes everything you see here is that Tech Biz Toolkit is built by me, end to end.

I create the content myself.
I write the blogs and eBooks.
I design the digital products and templates.
I edit the videos and podcast episodes.
I create and print the physical merchandise.

Not because I have to but because I want to stay close to the work.

That hands-on approach keeps everything grounded in real experience rather than theory. It allows me to test ideas, refine tools, and create resources that feel practical, thoughtful, and genuinely useful especially for people earlier in their business change journey.

Tech Biz Toolkit isn’t mass-produced content. It’s carefully built, shaped, and shared with intention.

What I Wanted to Achieve And What I Learned

When I launched the site, I didn’t have a grand plan or a fixed roadmap. What I did have was clarity on who I wanted to help:

  • People new to business change

  • Those feeling unsure or under-confident

  • Professionals navigating change alongside complex technology

What I gained throughout 2025 surprised me:

  • Greater confidence in sharing my perspective

  • Stronger clarity on my professional direction

  • Meaningful conversations with people who said, “I needed this”.

Writing my first eBook “10 Most Common Mistakes Every Business Change Manager Makes (And How to Avoid Them)” was a particularly proud moment. It forced me to reflect honestly on my own experiences and put words to lessons that are rarely written down.

The Podcast: Conversations That Matter

Another major milestone in 2025 was recording the Tech Biz Toolkit podcast interviews.

The conversations are done and I’m incredibly proud of them.

I’ve had thoughtful, honest discussions with:

  • Stephen Budd (Stephen Budd Management)

  • Amy Newton (Director, US Head Of Retail & Tech Ads at Netflix)

  • Alan Dalley (MuleSoft Ambassador and Centre For Enablement Lead at Network Rail and author on Medium.com)

Each guest brought their own perspective on leadership, change, and navigating complexity and reinforced something I deeply believe:

Business change is learned through stories, not just theory.

The podcast will be released from next week, with one episode each month. In between episodes, I’ll continue sharing insights, reflections, and practical guidance through the site and my subscriber channels.

What You’ll See More of in 2026

As Tech Biz Toolkit moves into its next phase, the focus will be on consistent, practical value.

This includes:

  • Change advice explained simply

  • Real-world concepts and examples

  • Book reviews and reflections

  • Tools and templates that people can actually use

  • Content designed to build confidence, not overwhelm

You may also notice a gentle shift in how I talk about the future of business change particularly as technology and automation continue to shape how organisations operate.

This won’t be about hype or jargon.
It will remain grounded in people, adoption, and capability.

A Final Thought

2025 reminded me that you don’t need to have everything figured out to begin you just need to start with intention.

Tech Biz Toolkit is still evolving and so am I.

But the purpose is clear:

To support business change professionals with practical insight, honest reflection, and tools that make the work feel more achievable.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, read, listened, or encouraged along the way.

Here’s to a steady, thoughtful 2026.

If you’re new to business change — or figuring things out as you go — I hope you find something here that helps.
